Application Process
The bride and groom must apply in person for a BVI marriage license at least three business days prior to the ceremony. Escorted by our wedding coordinator, applications must be filed at the Registrar's Office in Tortola, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except holidays). The Registrar will then confirm the date and time of the ceremony.
Required Documents
Applicants must present the following documentation to the Registrar. All documents must be originals (or certified copies) and in English.
1. Passport (with BVI entry cards)
2. Divorce Decree (if applicable)
3. Death Certificate of former spouse (if applicable)
4. Proof if your name has been changed by deed poll
