This was the view from the Arawak Room this evening towards the end of the Manager's Cocktail Party. Not a bad way to spend a Monday evening when followed by dinner in the Hilltop Restaurant.

The GM of Biras Creek was in the historic city of Chester today visiting travel agencies and tour operators to show the many changes that have occurred at Biras Creek. We know that photographs can never really do justice to the beauty of the island, but there were universal gasps of amazement when they were shown the presentations, and assurances that they will be recommending Biras to their clients in the weeks and months ahead.

This visit coincides with the recent re-launch of the BVI to the British travel trade by the Premier and Minister of Tourism, and the hiring of Ginny Hawksley as the head of BVI Tourism in the UK. There is already increased awareness of the British Virgin Islands as a destination, and Biras Creek ranks as one of the top resorts in the region.

Thanks to the staff at the Chester Grosvenor for putting on a great lunch for the leading Product Managers and providing a wonderful setting for us to showcase Biras Creek!

Biras Creek is a wonderful venue for weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, renewal of vows and just being together!

This friendly guy and his buddies are seen regularly wandering around the resort, especially when they think that a guest may feed them a hibiscus flower! He is sitting here this morning at the dock, bidding farewell to some guests who have been with us all week on their honeymoon. Come back and see him (and all of us!) soon!

All guests now receive a complimentary bottle of our own gold rum on arrival in
their room. This is the Caribbean after all!

In our continuing quest to improve our service and amenities, we have upgraded all of our bed linens and towels with products from the Italian company Frette.

 Just one of the many little additions that make Biras Creek a very special place!

We are pleased to have taken delivery of new Trek Cruiser bikes, two for each suite. They are a wonderful way to get around the resort, explore the beach, the marina and the many hidden gems on our 140 acres. They are easy to ride with no gears to worry about. Pedal backwards to brake and remember that in the BVI we drive on the left!
